Heimel Sports LLC was founded in 2017 with a simple goal: To provide Athletes, Coaches and sports organizations with opportunities to develop and grow.
Centered around Ice Hockey, Heimel Sports offers Consulting Services, High Performance Spring and Summer hockey opportunities, camps/clinics located in Great Falls Montana, and is currently developing a comprehensive online academy to help players and coaches connect with resources to make them better.
In addition, Heimel Sports works directly with Players, Coaches and Sports Organizations in the mentorship and consulting programs that they offer. The primary focus of these mentorship and consulting programs are to provide opportunities for these individuals or organizations to receive 1-1 attention and to set and help achieve the specific goals that they might have.

About the Founder:
Jeff Heimel is the primary owner and operator of Heimel Sports LLC. Heimel (37) has over 15 years of head coaching experience.
His most recent coaching tenure was as the Head Men’s Hockey Coach at the University of Providence- Great Falls in Great Falls Montana. In addition to being the teams inaugural head coach, he led the Argos to three straight national tournament appearances in just four seasons and added a conference championship in just their second season.
Prior to his tenure at the University of Providence, Heimel spent 8 years in the junior hockey ranks with the Great Falls Americans (6 years) Cheyenne Stampede (1 year) and Phoenix Polars Bears (1 year). During this time, he logged approximately 400 regular season games as a head coach and his teams recorded a lifetime record of 255-119-25. (.65 win %).
Some notable accomplishments include winning na3hl back to back Frontier Division championships during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons and two na3hl frontier division runner ups during the 2013-14 and 2016-17 Seasons. In addition, Heimel was selected as Head Coach of the NA3HL Top Prospects Divisional Team during the 2015-16 and 2014-15 Seasons as well as Head Coach of the U18 Prospects team during the 2016-17 Season. Heimel was also named 2014 AWHL Coach of the Year.
Perhaps the most rewarding part of Heimel’s junior tenure was being able to see 70+ players grow out of his programs into all levels of junior and collegiate hockey.
Heimel also served as co-director of the Mid-Am Selects summer AAA hockey club from 2014-2017. He also operated the Junior Hockey Academy (now part of Heimel Sports LLC) from 2014-2018.
Heimel, a Saint Paul Minnesota native, is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach and resides in Great Falls, Montana with his wife Megan and their three children Christian (10) and Preston (8) and Mila (4).
